Olof Gets a Second Chance Thanks to Foster Care.
Olof was removed from severe neglect conditions by Animal Control Officers along with 10 other dogs in February 2015. At the time Olof was removed he was in the worst condition, severely emaciated and covered with urine burns. Olof was sent into an experienced foster home who worked with him on housebreaking and basic obedience while helping him regain his much needed weight. He was bathed routinely and treated for his skin condition. During one of Olof’s visits to the shelter Olof met his new best friend, Russel Bopst. Olof was adopted by Russel and his family in May. Thanks to the hard work of the Shelter Staff and his Foster Family Olof is a happy healthy dog in a loving home.
