Below, you will find a link to all of our current volunteer opportunities. We also encourage you to join our Facebook group (Humane Society of Carroll County Volunteers). These links will also be emailed to you in about an hour.
You do not need to hear from anyone in order to start signing up. You can sign up for your first volunteer opportunity right now using the links below.
Some of our volunteer positions do have age or training requirements, so pleaseread each volunteer opportunity description before signing up.
Due to insurance and liability, children under the age of 16 cannot volunteer directly with animals inside the Humane Society building. Those under the age of 16 may participate in these activities, or can reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteerhscc@gmail.com if you’d like to do a donation drive, make something for the animals/shelter, or have an idea other project. Please note volunteers under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian present on the premises in case of emergency.
All volunteers are required to complete an application with basic information and sign a waiver form before they can volunteer. Filling out the application also adds you to our Volunteer Newsletter!
