Cat Room Renovation Update

In 2021, we started renovating our cat rooms. At the Humane Society of Carroll County, we are always thinking of new ways to make the shelter a better place for the animals in our care. Throughout 2021, we focused fundraising efforts on new cat condos for our main cat adoption room. With your generous support we were able to raise the funds to purchase a room of new cat comfort suites. These new cat suites are designed to help reduce stress and improve the overall quality of stay for our feline residents.

This week, we are excited to announce we have started renovations on our community cat room. The staff are working hard painting and deep cleaning the space. Because of donations made through our Friday Fundraisers and other great causes, we have been able to purchase new Kuranda cat towers for the room. These are purr-fect for the cats to perch on while on the look out for their new families to arrive.
